The WCED WEC3100 100A Meter Isolator is a twin-pole main switch housed in a durable 3-way plastic enclosure. Designed for safe and secure electrical isolation, it’s ideal for meter isolator installs in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings where reliable disconnection is essential.
Its 3-way enclosure provides extra wiring space compared to the WEC2100 2-way isolator, making it more flexible for larger boards or tighter installs. A two-part lid and supplied 3-part seal enhance security, while lockable capability ensures circuits remain safely isolated during maintenance or upgrade work.

What’s the difference between the WEC2100 and WEC3100?
The WEC3100 comes in a 3-way enclosure, giving extra internal space compared to the WEC2100’s 2-way design. Both provide 100A twin-pole isolation.
Is the isolator IP-rated?
Yes – it is IP20 rated for indoor use in dry environments. For outdoor or exposed installs, consider our IP65 metal enclosures.
Can this isolator be locked off?
Yes – it can be padlocked or locked via its integrated mechanism for safe maintenance isolation. For more visible break isolation, see our rotary isolator range.
What loads can it handle?
Suitable for resistive and moderately inductive loads such as lighting, heating, garage supplies, and small distribution boards. For switching between grid and backup power, use a manual changeover switch instead.
